Sarah Friend

I'm a fully qualified complementary therapist with over 22 years experience. I practise Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Sports Therapy, Hot stone massage, Thai foot massage, Bellabaci cupping massage and On Site/Seated acupressure Massage from my home clinic in Clevedon and. I travel to your work place for On Site/seated Massage (OSM)

The complementary therapies used have been around for thousands of years. The Egyptians, Chinese, Hebrews, Greeks have used them as long ago as 3000 yrs BC & Romans were committed users too. With the development of modern & conventional medicine the old therapies were pushed aside and largely forgotten in the western culture. With the advent of the 21st Century it seems that we are turning back to the roots and rediscovering the benefits of alterative medicines that generations ago knew as the norm. Whether you have a specific problem or just want to feel better, the following treatments will give you a boost & a sense of well being.

This treatment uses essential oils, which are extracted, from different parts of various plants and trees. Massage is the most common form of administering these oils, simply because it is the most effective. Good for stress, insomnia, muscular problems & hormone related problems.

25 back, neck & shoulders massage (approx hour) 45 full body massages (approx 1 hour)

Using the warmth of the stones and essential oils, this massage is deeply relaxing and restorative. Very good for relieving stress, tension and anxiety, muscular aches and pains, insomnia and depression.

60 full body massage (approx 1 hour)

This is a massage of the feet and lower legs, using stretching and massage techniques together with the use of a stick to stimulate reflex points. This is a relaxing massage and gives a wonderful sense of well being. Good for balancing the body, muscular aches and pains, improving circulation. It strengthens and rejuvenates the body.

A wonderful treatment for the most overworked parts of your body!

55 (approx 1 hour)

On Site Massage is a treatment given through clothes on a specially designed chair, usually in the workplace. The massage targets the most common stress areas around the neck, back and shoulders. The benefits are very similar to having a full body massage and a treatment of just 15 or 20 minutes can make a real difference, leaving staff ready to resume work immediately and revitalised.

The benefits are many, including time efficient , staff retention (as they feel appreciated), increased productivity and reduced sickness.

In summary, a happy and healthy workforce equals increased productivity, equals a happy employer, equals happy customers, equals increased customers. All in all, a cycle of success.

As these treatments are given fully-clothed they will fit into a busy working day. They can be offered as a stand-alone service or form part of a stress-management programme.

Minimum booking 3 hours.

This works by unblocking energy pathways & rebalancing the energy flow within your body. It stimulates the body's own self-healing mechanism.

The treatment is given by applying pressures to areas on your feet. These areas correspond directly with all organs & systems of your body, that is each part of your body is mirrored in your feet. Blockages can be detected and when cleared improves and encourages your body to heal naturally.

Sarah Friend is also trained in Vertical Reflex Therapy (VRT) and Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART). Helps with MS, ME, hormonal problems, infertility, and relieving pain.
